After a rather wet weekend and start to the week, the sun finally showed its face today, so we decided to get our arses outside down to the lock-up, and sort out the Largo.

After the... er... well... er... total f**k up with the last set of wheels, we looked for alternative solutions.

After trailing the tinternet for most of the morning, we found a company based in devon that inport jap wheels, perfect!.

Currently the Largo has rather special 18" rims, with a width of 10.5" on the back. Luckily, the company we found supply Skyline drift wheels with a width of 9.5" which is as close as we are going to get with the correct PCB without spending a small fortune.

Not only the fact they fit, they also look pretty cool, and only £880, Bargin!

I contacted Matt from the importers, nice guy that arranged a deal to sort us out in our little crisis. Everything was going smooth, and I nearly got to the stage of getting out the company credit card, but then my phone rang.

It was Wayne from the local garage (the guy with the quality number plate) and he had some rather good news.

He had sourced a local alloy wheel repairer, who had confirmed he could repair our custom  set. We almost fell off our chairs. We had been told by several people they were not salvagable, and never expected to get the £3600 set on the road ever again.

I went down to meet him, and he confirmed he could repair both damaged wheels for £500, which was more than worth it. Hes taken the two alloys off to his workshop and we should have them on the bus by early next week, Sorted!

You don't even want to see the other one we drove on for a mile, I'll upload the before and after pics next week once they are in mint condition.
